Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how GTA CREB uses cookies and similar technologies (pixels, local storage, session storage, and SDKs) when you visit our website. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device, keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and measure how the site is being used. "Similar technologies" include local storage and pixels that perform the same function without writing a traditional cookie file.

2. Categories of cookies we use

• • Strictly necessary — required for the site to work. They hold your sign-in session, cart contents, CSRF tokens, language, and bot-protection state. Cannot be turned off.
• • Functional — remember preferences such as your selected platform (PlayStation 5 / Xbox Series X|S), region, and recently viewed editions. Disabling them makes the site less convenient but does not break it.
• • Analytics — privacy-respecting, aggregated page metrics so we can improve performance and find broken pages. IPs are truncated and no cross-site tracking is enabled. Off by default; enabled only with your consent.
• • Security & fraud prevention — set by us and by our payment providers during checkout to detect bots, account-takeover attempts, and card fraud. Required to complete a purchase.
• • Marketing — currently off. If we ever turn marketing cookies on, we will request consent before they are set.

3. Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by trusted third parties acting on our behalf:

• • Payment providers set cookies during checkout to authenticate the session, detect fraudulent card activity, and complete 3-D Secure challenges. Without them, payment cannot be processed.
• • Hosting & CDN set short-lived cookies for load balancing and DDoS protection.
• • Email provider may attach tracking pixels to transactional emails to confirm delivery — these are server-side and do not affect your browser.

Third parties process data under their own privacy policies. We share with them only what is necessary to provide the service.

4. How long cookies last

• • Session cookies — deleted when you close the browser.
• • Persistent cookies — kept up to 12 months unless you delete them earlier. Authentication cookies typically last 30 days.

5. Your choices

You can manage your preferences using the cookie banner shown on your first visit, or by clearing cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers also let you block third-party cookies or use private/incognito mode. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will break checkout and account access.

To opt out of analytics or marketing cookies at any time, clear cookies and revisit the site to re-show the banner, or email privacy@gtacreb.com and we'll update your preferences manually.

6. Do Not Track

We respect the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal and treat it as a valid opt-out of non-essential tracking. Browser "Do Not Track" headers are honoured where reasonably possible, but there is no single industry standard.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when our practices change. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
